Name of project: 980,000-ton/year Coke Production Line Technical Reconstruction Project of Heilongjiang Baotailong Coke Chemical Ltd.
Scale of project: Annual output of product: dry quenching tamping coke: 980,000 tons; carbinol: 100,000 tons; correspondingly building 24,000KW generating unit and 3,600,000-ton/year coal washery.
Brief description on the project: This is a cyclical economic project. Raw coal is used to produce coke, the surplus coal gas in coke furnace is used for production of carbinol, steam generated in the process of recovering red coke heat by dry quenching coke surplus heat boiler is used to generate power, a large amount of energy source is saved. Main construction contents: 2×50-hole TJL5550D single-heat tamping coke furnace with chamber height 5.5m, synchronously building carbinol production unit and dry quenching coke system, recovery unit, power-generating unit and auxiliary works. After the project reaches design capacity, the following annual outputs will be realized: coke: 980,000 tons; carbinol: 100,000 tons; tar: 50,000 tons; crude benzol: 14,000 tons; Sulfur 840 tons; ammonium sulfate: 11,750 tons; power-generating volume: 178 million KWH. The total land occupation area of the project is 43.68 hectares, in which, the new land acquisition area is 21.68 hectares. The project has achieved the approval of Heilongjiang Environment Protection Bureau on Environment Assessment Report and the approval of Heilongjiang Economic Commission, the land acquisition procedure is under application process.
Investment estimate and fund source: The total investment is US$124 million.

Estimated economic benefit after the project construction is completed: After the project reaches designed capacity, the annual sales income is US$211 million, the profit is US$20.85 million and the tax is US$23.714 million.
